A number of colleges and my self went to have lunch at the Grey Owl spur. We ordered the Monday burger special - buy one get one free.
We placed our orders and 20 minutes later we are told they cannot supply chips or onion rings with the burgers because the power is off. They then offer to supply vegetables with the burgers. I declined and said I would rather then cancel my order and eat somewhere else, but apparently the burgers had already been made and I was informed that I would have to pay either way. How do you sell burgers without chips??
R53 for two tasteless, bland, tiny burgers, and R20 for a glass of Coke, and R7 for a teaspoon of pepper sauce?!? No discount for the chips and onion rings I did not receive.
Mr Bojangles is just down the road, R75 for a 250G burger with toppings and sauce, a huge pile of chips and a cool drink... SPUR will not see me or my colleges ever again...
