Got together with some friends to celebrate a friends promotion into a new company. We struggled to get drinks from the waiter. Who took more than 10 minutes to bring a beer and the bar was not even 2meters away from our table. We didnt order beverages that had to be made but he took as long as someone who was making cocktails. He then dissapears for 20-30mins so I stand and pay for my drinks at the Bar and ask them to keep the one on ice, When i go to collect the my 2nd beer I am told i am not allowed to reach behind the coiunter of the bar.By a Walter. He doesnt ask who is my waiter or check why we are having to get our own drinks, I decided to get my own drinks because I could see the service at Doppio Zero wasnt up to standard. so to avoid making noise. I got my beers directly from the bar and am spoken to so rudely by a fuming Walter who was so aggresive! He didnt care about me as a paying customer just wanted to show his authority and act like he stays in Hillbrow! Well great to see what kind of people work at Doppio. I never get upset at people i dont know all I do is spend my money somewhere else. Lets see how long this resaurant last.
