Father's Day lunch at Quay Four a terrible disappointment!!
My wife ordered a beef burger with bacon, cheese & a type of salsa sauce. Not too sure how to describle the actual burger, but it was 'mushy'! The bacon was old, perhaps from a previous day's service and the cheese was processed cheese - all of this confirmed by the manager on duty as well - no arguments.
Burger was sent back and a chicken burger was ordered instead... another disappointment. It was raw inside, not completely, but still had that -pinkness.
Want to make my wife seriously ill, never mind my 6-month old son who is still breastfeeding?? That's the way to do it. At least the sauce part of the burger and the chips were nice!!
I had a Prego steak roll which was to my satisfaction and the beer was cold too, so those were the positives of the day. But I'm afraid Quay Four has fallen far short here.
Not that it was expected, but no complimentary drinks or discount offered on the bill. Guess we are a small fish in the big sea of thier customers. No problem, we'll swim in the small ponds in future.
Poor quality and poor management/customer retention skills.
