On Monday 17 June 2013, we decided to drive down to Carnival City for lunch. Arriving there, and knowing how good Anat's food is, we decided to eat there. When we reached the front of the que, I ordered 2 combo shwarma meals one chicken and one beef. Once I received the slip, she rang up only shwarma's, no combo meal. When I told her I asked for a combo meal she replied, oh well, the kitchen is busy with lots of chip orders which will take time so I only rang up shwarma's. But we still waited almost half an hour for our shwarmas, and then, she called out 'chicken' so when I chose my salads, she then filled the shwarma with beef. Already angry, I told her just to finish up and chose the same salads for the chicken shwarma. We sat down to eat our meal outside as we took these as takeaways, and the sauce (garlic) which was put over the top contained so much salt, it was inedible, we just threw the packets away and left. Spending R120.00 for a simple meal, what a waste of time and money. Take away your acceptability certificate as your food and service is shocking! I frequantly go to your Sandton Branch, but after this experience, will never support you again!
