In Pietermaritzburg, good all round restaurants are few and far inbetween. Tandoor restaurant is such a little gem that I wish for more people to know about, although it has been in Pmb Cbd area (opposite Merchiston) for several years now. They provide a great service, the waitors are friendly and kind and with a huge table of 20 guests, they got every order right and the atomosphere was wonderful. Thier indian cuisine is absolutely delicious and I have never heard anyone complain about the food. The owner Jaswant Singh is geunienly Indian and his humble, approachable manner and friendly nature fills the whole restaurant. They will go the extra mile to make sure everyone is satisfactory. Guests bring thier own drinks with a small corkage fee. Thank you very much and you deserve more credit and recognition!
