We went to the restaurant to order a meal. Thinking that the best option for an efficient order would be the drive through, as you would easily place the order, pay, and everything is packed ready for you to pick up, all in one easy and simple go... not so simple and easy it seems for mcdonalds, old fort road.
not only were we falsely advised that we could swop our cool drinks in our meals for warm bevarages, at no extra cost, but half our meal had been missing from our packet. at a drive through, one expects one's entire meal and drinks to be handed to you, and when the attendant tells you to have a good day you drive off, thinking you have everything.
we called the manager, who didnt help at all. he said that we can pick up our missing order on our next trip to the restaurant. firstly after the terrible service i dont want to go back there, secondly if eat a meal at mcdonalds and forget my wallet, can i pay at my next visit (its the same principal) and thirdly, i have to spend more money on fuel costs to go pick up my meal the next time, when the mistake was in their extremely poor and irresponsible service...
