ABSA - Don't phone us, we'll phone you - NEVER!

I changed from a savings to a cheque account, changing debit orders accordingly at the Greenstone branch. I specifically asked for these to only go off the new account from December as my salary would only go into that account in December. Lo and behold, the debit orders went off the new account in November, naturally there was no money in that account. The providers of this ridiculously bad service then proceed to take money off my account in penalty of the no funds situation. I logged a complaint on 3 December 2012, got an automated reply that I will be phoned. I mailed again on 8 January 2013, same thing happens!! It is now 16 January, still no response!!! ABSA - your service stinks and you took my money without authorisation. If this is not resolved I WILL close all 3 my accounts with you and move elsewhere. No trouble will be to much in order to get away from your horrific service.
