Adjustment to installments

Good day

I am very exhausted in this process, I have applied for an adjustment to my home loan instalments on the 26 February 2013. I was told it would take 7- 10 working days to be approved. It's now been 2 months and I still did not have any resolution to this issue. I have been to the bank and it's very disappointing that there is no one at the branch who can assist. I have spoken to the call center several times and been told its with the manager and I will be contacted soon. I have sent .numerous e-mails even motivation letters to the manager and still nothing. I am quite appalled at the service i am receiving. I have been told by numerous consultants that Standard bank is fantastic with customer service to be honest both husband and I were seriously considering changing our bank accounts, however after not receiving any response to the very first request we had made to the bank i am actually thinking twice. If I don't get any response from here I will forced to approach the ombudsman for banking.
