My brother transferred funds from his standard bank credit card to my account also with standard bank, 3 hours later funds were still not available. I go inside the bank in Oxford street just after 3h30pm.told me that he is nothing they can do. I explain my situation and the emergency I was having. Until I decided to share my experience at this moment funds are still not available. Im still stranded in a city that I know no one in cant book myself in a hotel and can't get a flight back to joburg. Why does it need special clearance for a money that is the account from another standard bank account. I phoned the cellphone banking and everyone else still no one can help me. The funny part is FNB right next door was open and I just wished I was dealing with them rather.
