At the end of March I received my Discovery Card statement for that month. I noticed I had received no cash back for my Vitality Healthy food spend at Pick n Pay. On 4 April I emailed Discovery Card to query this. I got a reply from Thando Zambhaqa on 8 April stating I had only used my card once at Pick n Pay during that billing cycle for an amount of R110.71. On 9 April I emailed back stating this is pure fiction as I had used my card at Pick n Pay at least ten times and I have my till slips as proof. Thando phoned me on 12 April requesting I send him copies of the till slips which he will forward to the relevant department. I immediately scanned these in and emailed him that same day. My spend at Pick n Pay during that billing cycle was R864.28 of which R351.28 was Vitality healthy food. As a Diamond member I should have received 25% cash back ie about R87.82. To date I have heard nothing further, not even an acknowledgement of receipt of my till slips or a reference number. Yet on 10 April I got an email from Barry Sundelson COO of Vitality and Discovery Card asking me to rate the service I received. I responded with a low score. Once again no response. So what now?
