I am receiving numerous phonecalls from different attorneys / collections companies for the same account at Standard Bank. This, after me advising them that the debts are prescribed.
The debts on both my accounts have been prescribed. I want the calls to stop and the relevant credit bureaux to be updated to show that no balance is due on these accounts. This is in line with The Prescription Act 68 of 1969. Surely such a reputable bank needs to operate within the confines of South African Law?
Hoping for a resolution to this matter once and for all.
