I am disspointed with ABSA Insurance. I am in my property for 2 years now and in the 2 years I has a burst water pipe on 3 occasions and on each occasion my water bill has reached in excess of R6000. I have also paid the plumber R1000 already (R500 * 2) for excess. I now need to pay it again. My water bill is also in excess of R6000 so i am out of pocket R12000 1500 with an account of R6000. So i request that they fix the enitre line instead and the answer is NO. They will only fix to the point where the leak is now. I must therefore wait for another event, pay R500 to the plumber and run the risk of R6000 water bill. Bare in mind that the fix of the last leak was just about a month ago!

ABSA does not care, and once this leak is fixed I will be cancelling the policy and moving to whichever insurer that actually cares about their clients.

this is NOT FAIR in my opinion.
