No help

On Saturday 6 April i went to a merchant to buy some goods. I swiped my debit card and as soon as i got the confirmation sms his speedpoint gave a communications error. So i paid him cash to get my goods as we werent sure if the transaction went through or not. Now its Friday 12 April and the outstanding authorization is still floating around in mid air. Neither me or the merchant has the money, FNB says they cant reverse it and that its the merchant's responsibility to get the money. HOW?? we phoned everywhere and now one is interested in helping. I want my money within 48 hours. So live up to your slogan FNB. HELP!!!
