Great attitude!

I was at the Standard Bank on Sat 6 April to arrange for a Travel Wallet and a Credit Card for my wife.
We were attended to by Mrs Meagan Nicolson. The resulting experience was exceptionally re-assuring in terms of service quality.
We were impressed by the professionalism and warm attitude with which a number of services were delivered, although it was near closing time.
Debit orders, new card application, EFT linkages and a couple of other things were seen to in a matter of minutes.
We finished off even transferring the cheque and credit card accounts my wife's existing bank, which does not even try to deliver service, to Standard Bank! The current bank claims to "make things happen", where, on the contrary, we found very little happened in terms of customer service despite brining it to the attention of the local Branch Manager. The attitude was one of arrogance and disinterest.

It is not often that one comes across such commitment. These days, where moaning and whining due to poor/no service is so common, this experience is certainly reassuring. It took one committed individual to satisfy a customer and at the same time generate business for the bank.
