I have now been embroiled in a straight-forward burglary claim of no more than R75, 000 with Budget Insurance for more than 8months. After submitting detailed tax invoices in respect of the goods claimed, I was told today that portions of my claim are still denied (!!).
Not only is Budget Insurance cover
a) INFERIOR but
b) I am starting to question the CASF FLOW and SOLVENCY position of the business and the ability of the insurer to meet claims as they fall due, given the extent of the stalling tactics they have to resort to.
