Refuse to improve poor interest rates

I contacted Nedbank Home Loans and requested a review of my home loan interest rate.
I had a very positive experience with the telephone agent (Megan), she was very polite and helpful.
Unfortunately Megan called me today to tell me that the Home Loans division could not improve my interest rate. When I asked what the reason was for this, Megan told me that they would not give her a reason. Home Loan division would simply not give me a better rate. I have been a loyal Nedbank customer for about 5 years and before now have not really had anything to complain about. I know that I have a fantastic credit rating. All I really would like is to know why my rate could not be improved.
