Run around

I have been running up and down between work and the bank to try to apply for a loan and each time there is something wrong with my detail of bank statement. I work for a living longer hours than the bank is open and then they sent me up and down and on the last and 4th time just to here that I can not apply for a loan because the bank account that I am using (where my salary is pay into) is in my husband name. Since when is it n crime to share a bank account and have full power over the account. Sorry I wasted my time
