On 07 July 2012 my brother was hit by an overtaking FDN Transport 18 Wheel Truck as he was driving on the left hand side obeying the law of the road and he get punished for a non-avoidable accident which is totally caused by their client.
Penalbeaters charges more than R49000. Regent calculated: assessor - R31, 903.23 x 70% = R22, 332.26
My unemployed brother must pay the rest I believe Regent did received the affidavit. I would like to know how did they come with this amount?

No road user has 100% right of way and should foresee other vehicles that may cross their path of travel. It is the obligation of every driver to keep a proper lookout and be able to foresee the actions of other road users and to regulate their speed accordingly. Lol. Aren't you supposed to tell this words to your driver or is because is your client & my brother is not?
How do you regulate a speed from an 18 Wheel Truck coming behind & overtaking? My brother was driving a light vehicle which almost killed him!
