I went to FNB in the hope that they can help me with a personal loan. I waited quite some time to be assisted, but it was absolutely worth the wait! Jan van Deventer assisted me. I explained that I had a Capitec loan that I desperately wanted to settle, as they can't change the debit order to my salary date, and are killing me with interest. Instead of just looking if I qualify for a loan, he literally gave me the whole spectrum of options, and we finally decided on an overdraft, with a personalised interest rate less than half of what I'm charged at Capitec! (Apparently I have a good credit record with FNB...) And while we were busy, I "sommer" upgraded my credit card as well! I normally get good service at FNB, however, I did not expect to be able to settle my Capitec loan in full. I was pleasantly surprised by Jan's advice, efforts & assistance and really appreciate it. There's a load off my shoulders thanks to him, I feel like I can breathe again!
