Long story short. Do not even consider Regent as insurance brokers. Various issues. I submit a claim, they sen d out an assessor. Assessor sends an email (CC's me) with the damages. Rim, petrol tank etc. When I wanted to go pick up my Car, the Mechanic said he didnt receive authorization from Regent. Phoned Matshepo Mohlala (the agent) she said she will sort it out. 10 mins later get a call from the Mechanic, only 1/2 the stuff was authorized. Phoned Matshepo Mohlala, she indicated she only received half the stuff to authorize. However, I have the exact same email she does with the photos of the damages and indication of the damages. Now, Its Thursday (before a public holiday) I am without a car for two weeks (took leave - i.e. loss of income) and now... I have to suffer because of their incompetence.
I asked to speak to Matshepo Mohlala's supervisor, and he is "busy" asked to speak to the MD... "busy".
To top this all off, I also have to pay R5000 excess which wasn't pointed out to me because I had another claim 9 months ago.
Do not do business with these people. Rather go to Outsurance or Mutual and Federal.
Brilliant Regent... Stay away from them
