I also have been refused a reverse debit order by Capitec, it is of Capitec interest of whom i reveres a debit order from. This is the contract i hacve with Capitec if i want a debit order to be reversed that should be done without any problem. The attitude i received from the bank Bank Manager at Capitec in Rosebank, her Name is Pat, is appalling to say the least. i arrived there at 08h30 in the morning today, i only left there around 11h43 and i diint get assisted whatsoever. I've moved my fiance to Capitec, so as my Mom and my sister, because i thought the servise was better. Well my fiance just shifted her salary back to FNB, and if this doesnt get sorted out i'll follow through to FNB, & my family will follow suit. My creditors are my responsibility not Capitec, how am I suppossed to survive the whole month now, and telling the client to get a concent from the creditor when they know well the creditor will not give a letter since the account is in default, its non of Capitecs business as to who I pay or not its my money and not their.
i'd leave this bank and take everyone i know for such a behavior, if this doesnt get sorted out. Other banks dont give you such a hassle.
