Bad, bad service - illogical, ill trained staff

My readvance was granted on 12/3/2013. To date funds have not been paid out. I have provided every detail requested save for the building loan agreement &minimum specs which I was assured by the call centre I do not need to provide as this is not a building loan &moreover the repairs to the property are of a cosmetic nature NOTof a structural nature, there will be no building ergo there will be no builder employed. The cosmetic renovations will be carried out by my husband and me... simply because it is more cost effective to do this;these are, ripping up old, carpets, reflooring with tile/laminate; repainting interior & exterior; replacing moisture damaged ceiling boards etc before the winter rains, fixing the bathrooms. I have now been advised via impersonal SMS that an inspection needs to be done to uplift a retention and I must sign a happy letter.there is no logic to this as: The assessor has been and has assessed that there is sufficient value in the property, accordingly he made suggestions for improvement (b Stemming from this I have increased my insurance, which by the way I believe to be a viciously inflated amount, but I jumped through that hoop;(c) NOW..
