I took an ipad through FNB - was a client then. i am now employed by a different bank and get special staff rates on everything to do with bank. now i am battling to have FNB close my cheque account, as i still owe the smartphone. i have money to pay the account but in order to do that they demand i have a cheque account, which by the way was closed - according to me in Jan already.
no one is interested in providing me with an account number that i can use to pay this outstanding amount.
i have done all i could but, i am getting no joy from the bank that prides itself in having the client's interests at heart.
