FNB FAILS to provide adequate service

I applied for a temporary increase in my credit limit on my credit card in order to cover a once off expense. During the telephonic process I was provisionally cleared for an enormous credit limit, but asked for a much smaller one. I was told that I should submit documents and that the credit limit would be raised within 3-5 working days. I submitted the documents and 6 days later, the vendor has still been turned down. I requested attention to the matter after 4 working days, and got a very polite response that they would look into the matter, but 48 hours later the situation is not resolved. FNB may train their people to be polite and appear to be in keeping with their marketing campaign, but with today's technology, this embarrassment should not be happening. FNB, I no longer require the increase limit.
