FNB PayPal nonsense!

While trying to register my company on the gotpaid dot coza site to register as a non-FNB PayPal client, my submission of the form was denied because there appeared to have been a problem relating to my ID number?
I contacted FNB and it turned out that because I once was a FNB client (more than 8 years ago), my ID details were still on the FNB data base! I called FNB and kindly asked them if they could remove my details from their data base since I was no longer a client of theirs, and they said they would get back to me with an answer. I emailed Lingham, a lady I dealt with, and this is the email I received today... "I do understand that you currently do not have any existing accounts with FNB, however the only work around currently available to you is that you would need to open an FNB account." How does that work if one can apply on gotpaid dot coza as a non-FNB client for PayPal privileges and Lingham tells me that the only way to resolve the issue is to open an account? ARE YOU KIDDING ME???
