On the 29 October 2012, I logged a claim with Discover Insure, regarding damages that was done to my by striking members in germiston. The day i joined Discovery Insured, promises were made to have claims settled speedily, with no hiccups, a time period of 24 hours. I have contacted them n several occasions after the claim was logged to find out what was the status of the claim, as well as when will the car be repaired. I was shunted around from the Panelbeater and Discover Insure on many occasions, finally to be told 2 months alter December 2012 that the repairs would not be able to be done, because the Panel beaters were closing. I contacted Discovery Insure on numerous occasions after that only to be told that there is nothing that they can do. I requested for a Claims Manager to call me regarding the way I was treated, which to date has still not happened. I contacted Discovery Insure and was given a name of Viresh and his telephone number, which he never answers. When I was sold the policy unrealistic timelines were mentioned to sell the product, for this this reason, I cancelled my old policy and signed up with Discovery Insure. The treatement I recieved is unacceptable.
