First and foremost I could like to say for the 7 years, I have banked with absa, absa has been good to me. BUT what happened todayn am disappointed by the sense of no loyalty by absa. A couple of weeks ago I lost my handbag due to which contained my passport and debit card. KNowing I could not do any type of banking othan internet banking banking, I have been managing my account via online banking as I await replacements of my passport so that I can also obtain my debit card. Today as I wanted to do a cash sent to myself, my son punched in some letters on my log on page and I was logged out. I decided to go to the bank to explain my problem and for them to unlock my internet banking. I am a foreign national. However I have a. South african drivers I took that for identification.all I wanted was for that lock out to be removed. SHe refused and said there was nothing they could do. I told her that's my main account, I receive my salary in that account. I need at access to it. I just wanted the lock out due to the password error removed. MY question to Absa isHhow am I supposed to survive with access to my money.absa treat your customers well.my baby and I hare going to starve becoz of u.
