About 6 weeks ago R3000 was out of my ABSA account by means of a Cash send. A sim swap with a timeframe of minutes was done on my vodacom contract phone and soon as that happened I realized I won't be able to see any of my ABSA banking activity and I called ABSA immediatly to cancel my card to which ABSA said someone is busy with the third cashsend. I then feared they may have access to my bond account and tried to log onto my internet banking. When I got to the part to enter the missing characters of my password I noticed that the password suddenly wasn't the same length as usual and somehow someone changed it which gave them access to my accounts. I myself worked at ABSA and I know within every regulated profession such as the banking industry, EVERY database transaction has to leave a traceable audit trail and employee has to swipe their card before being able to do anything with a client's account, ABSA is refusing to provide me with this audit trail which will clearly show what the activity trace on the admin side of my account is. What does that tell you? Absa is alsorefusing to change my RVN to send to email adress which would have stopped this as well. Inside job...?
