R400 referral

I referred my parents to Outsurance as we have our house content and 2 cars insured and never had a problem. My mom got a quote and agreed to sign up in Nov/Dec 2012. She told Outsurance I referred her and they said I will be paid R400 referral fee (as advertised last year).
I have now enquired about this referral fee and have now been told that because we claimed for a camera that was we now lose this referral fee. WHAT has a referral fee got to do with any of our claims or bonusses? YES we lose our no claim bonusses that I understand but a referral fee has absolutely NOTHING to do with our account.
This was a referral done and should be paid regardelss of our insurance policy or what we do. You got the business and now you Bend over backwards to everyone over? This is not on. I want the referral fee PAID to us.
Looking at social media I can see we are not the only people you are screwing over continously.
If this is not resolved we will be moving our Insurance as will anyone else we have referred. I will make it a point NOT to recommend you.
