Do not do business with New National. Rather pay more and enjoy peace of mind with the reputable insurance companies. We had a claim for an armed at our residence on 17th January 2013 in JHB, where a vehicle and house contents were and up till today (12 March 2013) we have not been paid, nor do we receive any feedback from the Company as to when we will be paid. This company needs to be exposed in order to prevent people from getting ripped off. People are attracted to New National because of their lower premiums for vehicle and house insurance. The real problems arise when you suffer a loss and they look at every excuse not to pay out. The quality of service is disgusting and this company should be exposed on Carte Blanche in order to save people their hard earned money spent on insurance premiums that provide no benefits. People need to get wiser about insurance companies, especially companies like New National.
