Wealth Advisor - Lack of Service

I requested that an adviser contact me to give me advice on my portfolio. Within a few days i had a wonderfully prompt and efficient response. I was sent a disclosure letter to complete so that this person could have access to my portfolio.

However before signing i requested clarification on a sentence which indicated he would receive a substantial amount of my money as commission. I wasn't sure if i had understood the sentence correctly. Since my email i have not heard a word. I can only assume that my reading the contract and asking questions is inconvenient and not an easy pay off so he is no longer eager to be my adviser or he would have been as helpful as he was at first.

Its a pity i am stuck with this portfolio until maturity or i would definitely have closed it and gone elsewhere. This is not the first time i have had bad service from them.
