After waiting for long in a line we were told sorry we can't assist you at menlyn branch because we don't have business bankers, fair enough so I continued with my personal account's query, which resulted in a sorry we are offline and can't help you at all reply for the consultant. The year is 2013 Standard Bank, they have technology now to allow your branches to fail over from those beloved old diginet lines to other technologies, how about you implement these at branches...? Lines do and will go down, instead of your staff blankly staring ahead for hours and make customers more irate, spend some of that money in your IT budget...
