Standard Bank
What to think?

Yesterday, between 215pm and 230 pm I went to Standard Bank Morningside, Sandton. I needed to up my limit on my internet banking in order to do an EFT. Upon approaching the teller counter/ booth I was welcomed by a pair of feet: The teller who was at the counter was sitting on her phone, with her feet shoeless up on the counter. She quickly scurried to compose herself and upon me beginning to explain what that I would like to do: i.e. do a deposit from Standard Bank to ABSA, she interrupted me, telling me that I cannot do this. I asked her to hear my full story/request before she is so adamant on being unable to assist me. Once, she listened to me, she was able to send me to enquiries. I am not no much taken aback my her response, more flabbergasted by the fact that she had her feet on the counter and a superior nor a colleague seemed nonplussed by this. Unfortunately, I think I was so shocked coupled with the fact that I was in a rush, that my brain couldn't even process the event. When I did, I posted my experience on Facebook as I thought my reaction may be unwarranted, however by the amount of responses and the shock of the responses it appears this is unacceptable.
