I recently received an sms that the number to book movie tickets at The Unlimited has changed. On Saturday 16 Feb, I used this sms number to get my free movie ticket and to my shock, I had to supply my credit card details to pay R49-50 for my tickets. I then phoned the call centre and arranged for them to debit my account via debit order.
I am very upset with this new process because there is NO benefit to me!!!
1. I was never informed of how the procedure will be handled from now on. NOTHING was conveyed to me regarding this matter and that I had to supply my credit card details or pay in advance by credit card or Debit order.
2. In actual fact, I am NOT getting anything for free!!!
A movie ticket at a JUNCTION is R45. For two it is R90.
If I pay the R49.50 with a debit order it is costing me R57 for a movie ticket which includes the bank charge for the debit order.
So in actual fact I am only getting a discount on my second movie ticket, IT IS NOT FOR FREE!!!
I am paying my TheUnlimited membership fee every month and it was advertised and still is advertised that you get a free movie ticket!!! I did not receive this!!! Nothing is for FREE!!!
