I switched to FNB about a year ago and also took up the tablet offer. The debit subsequently went through for payment of the device; which I did not mind; BUT FNB OVERCHARGED ME. At the time of signing with FNB; the price was R219.00; I was being overcharged. I then phoned through to query this and that is when my headache began. Every time I call the call centre;no-one seems to know anything. All they can tell is yes; they see that amount going off but thats when the buck stops. On about my third or fourth try; i got through a girl Genevieve; call reference 12112312214 - NOVEMBER 2012 - who confirmed yes; i was being overcharged and the amount would be rectified the following month and the difference refunded back to me. That was 3 months ago. The charge is still the same. I phoned again in December spoke to a 'supervisor' who didnt even have the courtesy to phone me back. Phoned AGAIN last week and after dealing with a very disinterested and sour gentleman; got transferred to Thato. he promised to phone me back. Im still waiting.

Don't worry Steve. Their slogan should be There will come a day when we will know what we are doing... FNB How can we NOT help you.
