I BOUGHT A CITROEN C4 1.6i COUPE ON THE 04-04-2012 THROUGH ABSA CAR FINANCE.I ALSO BOUGHT EXTENDED WARRANTY.WHEN I TOOK MY CAR FOR SERVICE AT THE APPROVED DEALER IN EAST LONDON, I WAS ADVISED TO CHANGE SOME SUSPENSION PARTS.I CALLED MR MBASA AND INFORMED HIM OF WHAT I WAS TOLD AND ASKED THE NUMBER I SHOULD CALL TO ENSURE THAT IF THE PARTS MENTIONED BY THE DEALER WERE COVERED BY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY.MR MBASA GAVE THE NUMBER AND FORWARDED IT TO THE CONSULTANT AT THE DEALER WHO DULY CALLED THE NUMBER BUT THERE WAS NO RESPONSE.THE MILEAGE ON THE CAR WHEN I BOUGHT WAS 107500KM, NOW IT IS 120500KM.MY MAIN CONCERN IS THAT I WAS TOLD ONCE THE MILEAGE REACHES 120000KM, THE COVER WILL BE REDUCED BY 50% AND I TRIED TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THE WARRANTY SECTION LONG BEFORE MY CAR REACHED THAT MILEAGE.
AT 117000KM I AGAIN CONTACTED MR MBASA AND EXPLAINED MY SITUATION.THIS TIME HE GAVE ME A NUMBER OF A PERSON KNOWN AS SIVU.I CONTACTED THIS PERSON AND EXPLAINED MY PROBLEM TO HIM AND FURTHER ASKED HIM TO EMAIL ME THE WARRANTY DOCUMENT TO SEE FOR MYSELF WHICH CAR PARTS WERE COVERED BY WARRANTY WHICH EXPIRES ON 04-04-2014..
HE SAID HE WOULD COME BACK TO ME, BUT HE NEVER DID.I CALLED AGAIN.STILL WAITING.
