Unacceptable response and lack of urgency

On the 04 Feb 2013 my main entrance gate motor stopped working after a lighting storm. On the 05th February I reported the matter to my insurance company (ABSA). They allocated Waybridge to inspect the damage. They call me to say that they wil only be able to come out to inspect my damages on the 08th February becaus ethey are very busy. I advise dthem that I will get my own SP to assess the damage since this is the main gate to enter my property. The SP removed the motor from the gate took it away to test and returned it saying that it had been damaged by lightining. The said motor was left in my garage and the guy from Waybridge arrived on the 08th to assess. Afte following up with my insurance company i recieved a response on the 15th advising me that the claim is repudiated and the reason given basically indicates that we had tampered with. I have advised my Insurance company that I am not satisfied with this response and that they are placing me at further risk since my gate is still not operational. I still await their response a week later despite 2 emails to them this week.
