I cant remember if the lady who worked at the forex desk on the morning of 10-Feb-2013's name was Dinah. Nonetheless I needed to exchange currency for my dad as we were leaving the next day for India. He isn't a standard bank client and all these new rules make it difficult to exchange cash. But her quick thinking, patience and sense of going the extra mile paid off. I remembered that I have a credit card with Standard bank but would never have thought it possible had she not asked the right questions (regarding whether I was a client). Even though I am an FNB client, I vowed never to use their forex ever again based on a very bad experience (also logged on hello peter).
