I am from Stellenbosch in the Western Cape and just received an email from a FNB client in Cape Town with MY Credit Card Statement attached to it. When he asked the bank why the wrong statement, their reply was "Sorry, a technical error"! Is this the way people's accounts are getting maxed out and money disappearing from it as well? A lot of personal detail is on that statement which is, as I said, "personal".
I find this as unacceptable behaviour from an institution with an Online policy that quotes as follow: "FNB Online is serious about security! In addition to the multiple layers of Online Banking security already available, we also offer all Online Banking and Online Banking Enterprise (TM) clients a free software program that can protect you from being phished and prevent spyware from your banking login details."
