My Name is Unathi Mali.
I took out a life Policy with Old Mutual and also savings and Retirement Annuity. I pay in R845 per month.
I was told by Moegamat Nur Connelly the agent that deals with my account that when I want to take out my savings It would be paid in 48 hours. That is why i tool it as I knew I can take it out whenever I want. The money that I have paid in for retirement and savings since i took the policy is R3250. In Dec 2012 I requested for my savings to be paid out. and in January 2013 i requested for the RA to be cancelled and also paid out. what I have received from Old Mutual is two payments R447 and 227 = R 674.
so Tell me, how can R3250 all of a sudden become R674.
After complaining to Moegamat Nur Connelly he told me that he doesnt know what the delay is. he tells me that the savings and the RA have been cancelled on the system cannot tell me why after 2months, the money has not been paid.
this is the worst service I have ever received and I just want to get rid of all the policies I have with Old Mutual.
My concern is that what happens to my family when I pass away if i am getting service like this while I am alive. Old Mutual help get my money back.
