After being "rear ended" I took my car to the Santam drive in centre. The assessor looked at it and promised I would be phoned to make an appointment. After three days of not hearing anything, I phoned him and was told to "appreciate that he is busy". Eventually after phoning the national complaints line, I got a call to say the car could go in two weeks later.
When I phoned to confirm the booking with the panel beater, they confirmed that they had authority to replace the front bumper and front right fog light. You guessed it, having being "rear ended", the damage to my vehicle is at the back, not the front! The saga continues
