Incompetent staff/ poor customer service

My credit card expired, i called the bank to inform them. they upgraded my status to a gold status. The balance on the previous card was never carried over to the new card, of which the bank is responsible for doing. I am being harrassed every second day saying that my account is in arrears from the 1st August 2012. In December i was in the ban X3 times to try and get the problem rectified, till now, not even the bank can sort this problem out, and i am still getting calls every second day informing me my card is unpaid. The bank has taken it upon themselves to just debit my personal account X4 times during Decmber, and once in January to the amount of R5747.00 for the so called out standing amount. I went last week and have now opened a Nedbank acount, and as of end of this month all banking will be moved over. the consultants at the bank even get put through to 7 different departments when they try to find out what is going on with this account, I was also informed by the bank that this is not the first case where this has happened. I strongly recommend people check their banks, and compare the service being given. to date, problem is still not rectified!!!
