Miway claim no: 517714
i am currently insured with MIWAY, on 12/01/2014 which Sunday, whilst returning from holiday in Capetown i hit a little Buck which went under the front on car away from tyres and i could see it run off in mirror, i stopped the vehicle to inspect, bearing in mind it was still night i used a torch and could see no visible damage so i continued driving and aprrox. 70km thereafter i noticed the heat gauge go into the red, i stopped and opened bonnet and noticed no water in radiator, this was near Winburg, thinking that this was merely a Mechanical failure in radiator i contacted Miway, they wanted to tow me back to Bloemfontein, and the Miway consultant said that they only cover for towing to the Miway yard in Bloemfontein and that i had to pay to have it towed thereafter to Honda, and i had a trailer which they did not want to tow under cover, and stating that they would be there in about 2hours and they quote on additional charges was much higher than what i was quoted by AA, long story short they are now refuting damage claim to engine now which was NOT picked up when they assessed damage and only wanting to pay for radiator, first for WOMAN ..i think not
