Unity
Ripped off and unethical practice

I had all my 4 wheels and mags on the 29th Dec 2013. I had to buy 2 wheels that cost me R860 on that day before they would get a tow truck out. The insurance appointed a panel company (a Farbers) to replaced my wheels and fender that was damaged. The day i am suppose to collect my car Farbers call for a strange noise. i inform them that my car had no noise prior to the wheels incident. They sent my car away for an assessment at an auto centre that informed me that the crack shaft is damaged and due to sludge build up. I have informed them that it is impossible due to the car being serviced 8 days prior. The auto centre drained the oil then send the car to toyota for a 2nd opinion. They refuse to pay even when providing them with proof of a full service history. All they claim was possible oil pump failure or no service. They then want to charge me R20000 to have my car fixed. i refused to pay and advised my car to be dropped at my mechanic. I found that they damaged the new mag they put on and my mechanic provided photo's of engine with no sludge.
