I opened a policy with outsurance on the 11th of november 2012 for my car which i was quoted r1800 for my premium. So about 2 months later i told them to cancel my policy as i jus joined budget insurance and its much cheaper, they didnt. For 6 months they have been failing to cancel so i ended my budget policy to stay with them and they promised to compensate me for dual insurance, which they still failed to do. Then on 22 december last year i had an accident in mokopane which i was later told that my car was written because the qoute from the panelbeaters was too much. Only to find out from the panelbeaters that my car was not assesd and ther was quotaion given by them. Isnt that dishonesty? After that whole saga i called to cancel my policy and expressed my unhappines and that i want nothing to do with them anymore. i was promised to be called and everything will be sorted out and that they'v marked it as urgent. Its been almost a month and i havnt recieved a call from them and they still deducting from my account. Whatdoes one do when this kind of thing happens, was my car really worthy of being written off, and why wont they cancel my policy like i requested? Very unhappy
