Absa has put a hold on my "platinum cheque account" which prevents me from using my debit cards and cheque card. I have maid all necessary payments and stuck to my payment arrangements with absa. When you call the branch, the intro brags about sponsoring "the human spirit" and I assume this is how they do it, by making you look like a in front of strangers when wanting to pay and your card gets declined.
I am a absa customer for more than 10 years and have platinum status. this is how they repay me??
I am very disappointed and would like absa to remove this hold on my account as it is costing me valuable time and preventing me from running my business.
I qwas in a terrible bike accident and it left my left arm paralyzed in dec 2012, which had a bad effect on my ability to run my business and caused a significant loss of income for a couple of months. This has put me in a bad light credit wise, but it is coming right and now absa just throws another speed hump on my road. I think as a absa accountholder and customer who does all my vehicle financing, loans etc through absa for more than 10 years I deserve better treatment and communication should there have been a problem
