This is the second time this has happened. I insured my vehicles with Discovery Insure last year August (2013) because I do believe that they have a great product as far as an insurance package is concerned. I had been an existing client so when I replaced my vehicle, naturally I continued my insurance with them. However, a previous issue I had which never got sorted after being told many times that it would or that someone would get back to me, seems to have stuck its head out again.
My previous vehicle, on its anniversary date, had it's premium increase, even though I had never claimed and the vehicles value had decreased. Now, after being insured for just over 5 months, not even on the anniversary, I see that my premiums have gone up again without notice. I feel that it is pointless complaining as my previous issue was never resolved and the money I was overcharged was never refunded to me. Failure to correct it this time means that I will be forced to go to the press about this and maybe seek legal action. As it is, I will be looking for other insurance. This is, daylight. Please note that I will be moving my medical aid and all my policies from Discovery.
