Their incompetence has cost ME money

I was going to join King Price in September 2013 but shortly before my joining date, I was involved in an accident. I let King Price know about the accident via email & requested that I join a month later. I was assured that it wouldn't be a problem. Then I was, very unfortunately, in another accident in November 2013. I informed King Price & they said "please confirm that you have been claim free for 3 years? " I responded by saying that I reported that I was in an accident just before I joined. A week or so later, I got a phone call from them saying that because I was in an accident before I joined, they have to increase my premium. I told them that had they told me that my original quote price would have to be increases because I was no longer claim free when I told them months ago, I would have NEVER changed my insurer to them. The guy on the phone said he'd speak to people above him. I never heard back about it but they, of course, ignored my protest & increased my premium anyway... It went from just over R400 to R500. I was paying just over R300 with my previous insurer but took a chance by joining King Price. (This was not my only problem) STAY CLEAR OF KING PRICE!
