I applied for closure of my account from Killarney branch last week, I then called on Friday to check if this had been done, I found that my profile didn't reflect this. I was asked to pay in an admin fee to process the closure of R145. I deposited this and emailed [Email Removed] I asked for confirmation that my closure is being processed. I know it takes days to get it done, but I'm simply asking for confirmation that it is being done. I went to Killarney at the expense of my time, I called the call centre later at my expense, I emailed fnb@fnbcard at my expense, I am now messaging you here at my expense. Up to now there is no confirmation to me that the process has begun. And I don't know why it takes like 7 working days to effect an account closure, that just sounds bureaucratic & government-like.
