I have an account with Standard Bank that was handed over to Anthony Richards. I was contacted by Anthony Richards and I was told that Standard Bank has offered me a discount to my off my account. I agreed to pay of the outstanding amount before 28 December 2013 because I wasn't sure when will I get paid since I am new in the company.
I got paid on the 20th December 2013 and I was home on holiday in Phalaborwa so I immediately did a cellphone transfer of R1300 and I was supposed to pay 1371.90. My phone didn't allow me to make the full payment so I paid 1300rd and 71.90 still outstanding. I received an sms around the 27 in the morning reminding to pay the 1371.90 I quickly remembered that I didn't pay the 71.90. I transferred it. The first of January 2014, I can Anthony Richards to find out when am I getting my letter from Standard Bank and the lady said she will get back to me.2nd Week of January i was called by Anthony Richards and I was told me that I wasn't supposed to pay in 2 parts. I was supposed to pay it once and on the 28th December 2013 as agreed. I told her that I was under the impression I can pay the amount that is owed before the 28th December 2013 as discussed.
